Once again, the fair confirmed what we already knew: our system expertise in efficiency, sustainability and innovation resonates strongly with the market. Over four intensive days, we held countless valuable conversations, made numerous new contacts, and generated real momentum for future projects with our partners.
The program bundles practical system solutions designed to simplify manufacturing, reduce material usage and complexity, and deliver tangible competitive advantages – and it sparked lively discussions at our stand throughout the fair.
Our Smart Home solutions, developed together with Delta Dore and already well established in the market, also continued to generate strong interest. New “Fit For Future” system solutions, presented for the first time at the fair, rounded out the picture and gave us plenty to talk about with partners planning ahead.
Our further developed WarmCore hybrid system, available in installation depths of 70 and 76 millimetres, was one of the most talked-about solutions at our stand. Visitors responded very positively to the combination of a PVC core with aluminium profiles, which delivers excellent energy efficiency, high structural stability and broad design freedom across windows, doors, sliding doors and folding sliding elements. The sustainability credentials of the system – a PVC core with up to 50 percent recycled material and aluminium components with at least 90 percent recycled content – were a recurring topic in our conversations.
Our sustainable product strategy, built on a broad range of recycling options, struck a strong chord with visitors. The ReFrame series, with profile bodies made entirely from recycled PVC, profiles with a recycling content of at least 55 percent that meet current requirements of various German municipalities, and MultiCore reinforcements made from 100 percent recycled PVC all generated intensive discussions. Our profiles made from bio-attributed PVC, in which renewable raw materials such as tall-oil-based ethylene replace fossil resources, also attracted considerable attention.
We also showcased our sliding and lift-and-slide systems, shutter solutions, a wide range of special systems, and our extensive PVC sheet program. Many visitors took the opportunity to explore our comprehensive range of colours and surfaces, including decorative foils, proCoverTec surface finishing, the PMMA surface AcrylColor and aluminium claddings.
Kömmerling PrintFlow®, our innovative PVC filament for 3D printing, was one of the standout attractions at our stand. Our patented PVC material, specially developed for FDM/FFF printers, drew steady interest and plenty of questions throughout the fair. Weather-resistant, durable and recyclable, Kömmerling PrintFlow® clearly struck a nerve with visitors looking for new possibilities in prototyping, customized parts and economically produced small series.
The award ceremony, held as part of an event on our stand, was one of the emotional highlights of the fair. We presented the international award in the categories “Sustainable Products and Processes” and “Social Commitment,” evaluated by a jury of recognized experts, and were moved by the strong response from our partners and the wider industry.
